How would you like to create your first back-in-stock notification?

How to set up your first request?

Now that you've installed Restockify, it's time to send a test notification to see how it works. To do that, you need to do the following steps:

  • Go to your Shopify admin.

  • Go to an out-of-stock product page or add a product with 0 stock (This is how our app identifies out-of-stock product pages). If you already have an out-of-stock product, uncheck the continue selling box so Restockify can identify the product as out-of-stock

  • Look for the "Notify me when available" button. This is often located under the "sold-out" button.

    • If you don't see the button, we might need to manually make changes as some themes are a little hard to match. so please get in touch with us via

our live chat or drop an email to restockify@shopgram.io.

    • You can disable the button for certain products of your shop that you don't want the button for. You can read this article to learn how to do that.

  • Click on the button so that the subscription form appears.

  • Enter your email address, phone number, or both to be notified via Email and SMS or permit to be notified via web push notification.

  • Go back to the Restockify dashboard, and you'll see your request under the Reports> Request section.

  • Now, you can select Products on the Shopify admin dashboard.

  • Set the inventory of the requested product to 1, and an email, SMS, or push notification will be sent to you. Then, if you recheck the dashboard, you'll see a sent notification under the Reposrts> Sent notifications dashboard.

  • In the Widgets or Notifying channels section, you can customize the widgets (Button, Subscription form, or Notifications). Learn how in this article.

Please remember that all notifications will be sent automatically when the product inventory changes to more than 0. You can change this number if you like. Read this article to see how.

Note: If you already have a list of customer requests, you can import them into Restockify. Read about this here.
